BAR EXAMINATION - RESULTS
July 2024 Successful Candidates
Of 1,038 applicants who sat for the New Jersey Uniform Bar Examination, 674 or 65% passed the exam. Of the 798 examinees who were first-time test takers, 606 or 76% passed the exam. Of the remaining 240 examinees who were repeat test-takers, 68 or 28% passed the exam.
Due to pending application requirements for a small number of applicants, results were sent to 1,029 of the 1,038 applicants. Of those who received results, 670 or 65% passed the exam. Click here to view the list of successful New Jersey bar candidates.
Candidates who passed the examination must refer to their User Home Page for specific information from the New Jersey Board of Bar Examiners regarding their eligibility and related instructions for admission to the New Jersey bar. Please note that passing the examination does NOT automatically permit an individual to practice law in New Jersey. Each candidate is responsible to adhere to the provided instructions

The February 2024 bar examination results will be posted to User Home Pages May 10, 2024.
Please note that if you have not provided a law school certificate or have another matter pending, your results have been held. If you have not provided all supplementary documentation, such as driver's abstracts, documents requested by your reviewing attorney, etc., you cannot be certified for admission. Applicants must pass the exam, be certified by the Committee on Character, AND receive a pass and ready letter on your User Home Page in order to be admitted.
Please do not call the office regarding your results. All who sat for the exam will receive a notice regarding results. It will take several hours for all notices to be posted.
February 2024 Successful Candidates
